History
Co-founded in 1953 by Arthur Strugatz in Brooklyn, New York, Austin began as a company making museum sculpture reproductions licensed by well known museums and institutions, a relationship that continues to this day. Under his leadership, Austin expanded to include beautiful artistic pieces by living artists and designers in a wide variety of styles and materials at affordable pricing. His original vision is continuing with the next generation of family members at Austin who include Andrew Cymrot, Exec VP/Sales Manager and Patrick Pierce, Exec. VP/Manufacturing. Pamela Pierce is President.
Austin’s sales and general offices are located on Long Island, New York and its 200,000 square foot distribution center is in Houston, Texas. A sales office in Corby, Northamptionshire services the UK and Europe. A sales and distribution center are also located in China. Austin employees and sales associates at these facilities number over 150. Markets served are North and South America, Europe, Australia and the Far and Middle East.
